Dylan in full-on genius mode. Where he discovers he is capable of knocking
out rock classics up there or even beyond that of the Beatles and the Stones –
Like A Rolling Stone, Tombstone Blues, the title track. Add in the scathing
sarcasm and vitriol of Ballad Of A Thin Man and the lyrically coruscating
eleven minutes of Desolation Row, all in glorious mono…essential stuff. Why
haven’t you got it? Eh?
